Project #1 Progress

This project has been quite interesting to me. Of all the papers that I have had to write in English class this one is the most modern and fun to write! My pop culture topic is Snapchat. Three artifacts that Snapchat leaves behind are advertisements, product promotion campaigns, and live event streaming. The reason that these artifacts may seem vague are because there are so many of them that Snapchat promotes. To simply say one live event or advertisement that Snapchat endorses is the artifact wouldn’t be a fair representation on the impact all the ads, promotions, etc. have on popular culture.

I am using an outline on this paper. After the intro paragraph, I have all the key components classified under subheadings to make it easier to navigate through. I like that this paper is on an interesting topic that affects my life so much and that it has encouraged me to learn things about Snapchat that I would have never known. The hardest part of this project was coming up with the three artifacts. Since Snapchat is such a big company and not a single person or event, the artifacts I had to find were broad and I hope that they are correct for the paper!
